About me

My passion for photography began when I was 9 years old, I started taking photographs of everything I saw and found to be beautiful. I loved the beauty of natural light, B&W photography, details, expressions on people’s faces and everything became magical through my lens. I spent hours in back and white darkrooms printing photos that appeared in a mysterious way in trays of chemicals and darkness. Photographing nature in black and white is still a passion for me. I have specialized in photographing portraits and weddings since 1986 and have photographed over 600 weddings. I studied fine art photography at The San Francisco Art Institute and received a BFA degree. I had so many great instructors and mentors. I started my wedding photography career photographing for two Wedding Photography Studios to learn and gain experience. I attended numerous workshops on the fine art of wedding photography, portrait photography, lighting indoor and outdoors, candid styles, making great compositions and wow photos. I love the laughter as well as tears of happiness that well up during a wedding day. I welcome the opportunity to be a part of your day and photograph all of your loved ones. My goal is to capture the photos throughout your wedding day that you and your family will cherish. Along with an experience that you won’t forget. I hope to be more than your photographer, but also a calming presence and someone who brings the fun!
